Weight/Workout Log
The following is pretty much the outline of my "diet and workout"...
September: 220/230/224(9/9/08)
October: 210
November: 200
December: 190
January: 180
February: 170
March: 160
April: 150
May: 140
Stats as of August 28th, 2008:
- Height 5'1"
- Current weight: 230
- Goal weight: From 145 to 150.
- Time goal weight to be near or done by: May 2009.
Diet and exersice? Of course I do....
Dieting is so difficult because most people are set in their ways and only until they REAAALLLLYYY want to lose the weight, they won't.
As for me I sorta diet and I sorta don't. To most people who do diet they may think what I do is insane... but it worked before and it will work again when I start getting my body doing it on a regular basis again.
For me I DO NOT take Diet pills, No shakes, snacks, bars, drinks or anything else. The only thing I take are my thyroid and Cyst pills.
Sorta diet:
- I drink as much water as my body needs. No set number but I do record my intake of water in a journal I keep with me.
- I limit my sweets (and if you know me you know how hard this is). I only allow one coke or sweet a day.
- I only eat half of whatever I order, or I get kids meals.
- I chew my food for a very long time. For an overweight person the signal from your stomach to your brain takes longer to let your body know you're full. This way I don't over eat.
- I try to eat every THREE hours. Small, healthy things.
- I eat Special K cereals in substitute for meals i.e. Dinner or lunch.
- I log everything I eat during the day, this way if I gain or lose more I find out what's better or not to eat, or to eat less of.
My work out:
- I do many various work outs. I'll make links to the work outs I do.
- I work out over an hour everyday.
- I work out for a solid hour in the morning on my elliptical machine at home.
- I work out for 15 mins four times a day while I'm at my Gma's.
- I work out for 30 mins later in the evening when I'm home.
- I log how long I work out (especially if I'm not able to work out as much or at all.)
It will take me a little bit, but I will post the various work outs that I do at home. (Because I'm not a gym person at ALL! I would rather do a lot of things than work out with people there, too shy!)
This is my before picture, taken August 2008.
I'll be posting pictures every month on the 25th to show progress of my weight loss. Because sometimes you can't really tell when you are losing weight... so the pictures will help keep me on track!
